Food should not be served At Lunar

 

Lunar or Chinese New Year only days away, a variety of decorations and knick knacks we encounter a lot of oriental nuances where - where, of course, prepared to welcome the Lunar New Year.

For the Chinese community itself, Lunar New Year is not just a regular annual ritual, but it is a cultural tradition that is loaded with meaning and belief.

There are a variety of foods that are typical and must be presented in celebration of the lunar new year, such as cake baskets (TII kwee), fish and noodles, and fruit - fruit.

However, addition of food that must be served during the Chinese New Year celebrations, there are also foods that should not be presented or dipantangkan in the tradition of Chinese New Year, the food slurry, the slurry can be interpreted for or symbolize poverty or distress.

So although this dish is preferred, but not be served during the celebration. Pureed foods is highly avoided and shunned because it is believed will cause a lack of luck or bad luck.

In addition to porridge, things not to do during Chinese New Year is to reverse the Fish. Though the fish must have served during Chinese New Year, especially fish. But what is prohibited is to reverse his position when they want to take the meat on the other side of the fish.

Fish are believed to fully represent the excess, abundance, prosperity, and togetherness. These fish should not be reversed because it could lead to the source of our sustenance spill.

Therefore, how to take the meat behind it is to lift the fish backbone. Fish should not be spent, should be left to be stored for dinner the next day because of the belief that the said surplus equal to the sound of fish.
