New Operating System
The Android operating systems have been rapidly evolving ever since the invention of the first smartphone and droid. The specifications of the S3 are nothing short of amazing. It features a massive Quad-core 1.4 GHz processor and a 4.8-inch “HD Super AMOLED” display with a mind-blowing resolution of 1280×720 pixels (306 ppi pixel density). It is currently one of the biggest smart phones available.

Moreover, the built-in camera boasts 8 megapixels (same as the S2); it has also a 1.9 megapixel camera on the front panel. RAM memory 1 GB. In terms of recording capability, the Galaxy S3 makes their users smile with a TouchWiz UI v4.0 user interface, 1080p recording at 30 frames per second, a 2,100 mAh battery and 16, 32 or 64 gigabytes of internal storage (3 options available).

Standard Features
Of course, some things remain standard on this phone. In fact, this particular style of mobile phone will still have Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, and many other messaging and multimedia features that seem to be the standard on mobile phones across the world. Users should be greatly pleased with the amount of features they can access: both new and old features alike.

BlackBerry 9320 menjadi smartphone terbaru yang diluncurkan Research in Motion. Di Inggris, handset kelas menengah ini dibanderol di kisaran harga 140 poundsterling atau Rp 2 juta.

Harga tersebut ditawarkan oleh operator Three jika konsumen ingin membelinya tanpa terbebani biaya langganan bulanan. Jika memilih sistem kontrak langganan per bulan, Three menawarkan biaya 15 Poundsterling selama 24 bulan.

"BlackBerry 9320 adalah handset yang bagus untuk para pecandu jejaring sosial yang ingin tetap berhubungan dalam perjalanan," ucap Sylvia Chind, Head of Handset Three Inggris yang saya kutip dari ITProProtal, Jumat (11/5/2012).

Operator lainnya di Inggris, Orange, juga menawarkan BlackBerry 9320 dengan berbagai pilihan paket. Di paket pay as you go alias beli putus, handset ini juga dijual di kisaran harga 140 poundsterling.

Belum ada kejelasan kapan handset tersebut masuk ke Indonesia. Kabarnya akan dipasarkan di India pada bulan Juni sehingga mungkin juga akan tiba ke Tanah Air di kisaran waktu yang sama.

BlackBerry 9320 ditujukan untuk pengguna smartphone awal dan tampaknya dijual dengan harga cukup terjangkau. Sama seperti BlackBerry 9220 atau Davis, handset ini juga memiliki tombol terdedikasi untuk layanan messaging BBM.

9320 dibekali keyboard full qwerty dan layar seluas 2,44 inch. Spesifikasi lainnya termasuk kamera 3,2 megapixel, FM Radio, RAM 512MB, konektivitas 3G, GPS, Wi Fi serta OS BlackBerry 7.1

Jangan khawatir kalau trik ini saya beberkan terbuka karena saya yakin pihak operator sudah mengetahui bug-bug itu. Mereka tidak akan langsung sepihak mem-blok bug-bug yang sudah ada baik yang sudah diketahui oleh phreakers atau belum diketahui karena jika itu dilakukan kemungkinan jaringan server internet dari operator itu akan kacau. Salah satu contoh pada saat proxy server dari telkomsel yaitu m.skype.com di tutup atau di perbaharui oleh operator, jaringan server internet dari telkomsel sebagian kacau pada waktu itu. Banyak teman-teman di facebook (bukan grotongers) mengeluh dengan ketidak nyamanan itu. Pada waktunya bug ini akan ditutup juga oleh operator dan saya yakin akan ada gantinya dengan bug-bug baru dan trik-trik yang baru pula. Mustahil jika masing-masing operator tidak mengetahui bug-bug atau celah yang ada. Mereka punya tim ahli yang lebih tahu dan mengerti, saya yakin masih banyak bug/celeh untuk bisa berinternet gratis yang belum kita ketahui.

Retro: HTC Wallaby

The HTC Wallaby name may be unfamiliar, but this early smartphone is perhaps more familiar as the O2 XDA, Qtek 1100, Siemens SX56, T-Mobile MDA or any one of several other carrier or OEM branded names.

Despite the unfamiliar name, the Wallaby was a significant device that was very influential on smartphone development in the years after its launch 10 years ago in 2002.
The Wallaby marked the transition from standalone PDAs to the modern smartphone. Back in 2002, the name smartphone actually meant a slightly different class of device.. the HTC Wallaby was considered to be a “wireless PDA” instead. The operating system was a straight development from Windows CE which was Microsoft’s PDA offering, with a user interface very much like a shrunk down version of Windows 98.
PDAs had been around for a while before the Wallaby came out, notably the Compaq iPAQ (also built by HTC) and the PalmPilot. But these devices were extremely limited in their functionality - basically you could synchronise calendar events and contacts with your PC, run a few simple apps and perhaps download a copy of your mailbox..and that was about it. The Wallaby allowed you to read email on the go, access the web and (of course) make phone calls, all without needing to connect it to a PC at all.

Despite being 10 years old, the Wallaby is still somewhat usable as a smartphone. There’s a 3.5” 240 x 320 pixel resistive touchscreen display, a 400 MHz processor, 64MB of RAM, a memory card slot (for an SD card) and GPRS data. There’s no 3G support, WiFi, GPRS, Bluetooth or even a camera, but all the basic functions are here.
The user interface doesn’t look much like a modern smartphone, but if you’re used to a PC then you won’t have many problems. One shock with pre-iPhone devices such as the Wallaby is having to use scroll bars to move up and down through a long page, and the fairly basic resistive display isn’t nearly as responsive as a modern capacitive screen. And this really is a stylus-only interface too, the controls are just too small to use with a finger.
It’s quite a heavy device, coming in at about 200 grams and measuring 129 x 73 x 18mm (if you ignore the external antenna). At the time the Wallaby was a huge device, but many modern smartphones have a similar footprint, so today it doesn’t look quite so big.
If you wanted one of these SIM free then you would certainly have to have deep pockets, as the Wallably cost in the region of €1000 or £650 at the time, roughly comparable in price to a top-spec iPhone today.

Samsung Galaxy S III

One of the most anticipated handsets of the year, the Samsung Galaxy S III replaces the best-selling Galaxy S II that came to market a year ago.

The Galaxy S III is an Android 4.0 smartphone with a large 4.8" 720 x 1280 pixel HD AMOLED display,  on the back is an 8 megapixel camera and there's also a 1.9 megapixel unit on the front for video calls. And the good news for Samsung fans is that the Galaxy S III should be available in Europe from the end of May.
Frustratingly, Samsung haven't given been very clear about the processor configuration, but we are lead to believe that is has a quad-core 1.4GHz CPU with 1GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy S III comes with 16 or 32GB of flash plus a microSD slot (with a 64GB version promised), and in some regions the S III will support 4G connectivity.

All the usual Android features are here, plus a load of Samsung add-ons for social networking, taking pictures and media sharing. As you would expect, there's WiFi, Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity, plus support for GPS and GLONASS navigation, and the Galaxy S III supports NFC as well.
Sensors aren't usually very interesting on Android devices, but the Galaxy S III packs a barometer, digital compass, accelerometer, gyrometer, proximity sensor and an RGB light sensor. NFC communication means you can use the Galaxy S III for things like contactless payments, and you can even do clever things like multicasting media on your local wireless network.

This is a good looking handset, available in either black or white. The Galaxy S III is very slim at just 8.6mm thick, and the overall weight of 133 grams is very reasonable for a device with a screen this big. Inside is a very large 2100 mAh battery, which has 25% more capacity that the S II.
The Galaxy S range is the handset that all other Android smartphone manufacturers try to beat, so you can assume that Samsung's rivals will be looking at the S III very closely. We don't have any guidance on price at the moment, although you can expect it to be reassuringly expensive.

Walau desas desus tentang BB OS 7 termurah curve 9220 ini sudah gencar terdengar sejak beberapa bulan yang lalu namun aku baru mengetahuinya sekarang ketika browsing-browsing di portal berita lokal.

Aku tertarik dengan Tagline Blackberry 9220 ini yang di beberapa media online, blog dikatakan sebagai Blackberry Termurah saat ini. Aku heran dengan yang menulis Blackberry 9220 BB Termurah, apa yang nulis tidak tau kan sejak lama sudah ada Blackberry Gemini Curve 8520 yang harganya 1,7 - 1,8 Jutaan.Kalau dibilang Blackberry 7 termurah sih wajar.


Bila dibandingkan dengan harga Blackberry 9220, BB gemini 8520 lebih murah karena harga BB terbaru 9220 ini di Indonesia nanti diperkiranan seharga Rp.1,9 Jutaan (dibawah dua juta).

Blogger gaptek sendiri sangat semangat ketika memposting tentang Blackberry karena aku sangat inigin punya BB 'lagi' setelah bulan lalu BBku aku jual, he.


Niat hati Insya Allah mau beli Gemini lagi kalau punya uang lebih, nah pas melihat ada BB terbaru dibawah 2 juta ini, BB 9220 aku malah ngiler pengen beli ini ^_^. Walau BB dinilai banyak orang sudah masa lalu, hanya mengandalkan BBM tapi tidak bisa disangkal pengguna BBM masih banyak hampir semua temanku disini pakai BB.

Kapan Blackberry Curve 9220 Masuk Pasar Indonesia

BB 9220 ini pertama kali diluncurkan di India di minggu ketiga april 2012 beberapa hari yang lalu dan dikabarkan akan masuk negara lain termasuk Indonesia beberapa minggu kedepan. Jadi kita tunggu saja beberapa minggu lagi kabar launchingnya dan dijualnya Curve 9220 di Indonesia.

Kekurangan Blackberry 9220 Curve

Entah darimana awalnya aku mendengar, kita terbiasa bila ingin membeli sesuatu itu terlebih dahulu melihat kekurangannya baru melihat kelebihannya nah berikut ini beberapa kekurangan / kelemahan BB 9220. 

• Jaringan hanya EDGE. Akses internet menurutku ialah pilar dalam sebuah smartphone. 4 tahun lalu aku sudah punya hp SE dengan koneksi 3G, kenapa 4 tahun kedepan justru BB masih menggunakan 3G. Itu mungkin yang juga ada dibeberapa benak user.

• OS Terbaru 7.1
• Harga lumayan murah, walau untukku pribadi harga dibawah 2 juta itu tetap mahal tapi bila dibandingkan dengan yang lain BB ini bisa dibilang lebih murah.
• Ada FM radio, walau tentu pembeli BB tidak terlalu membuat adanya radio FM sebagai acuan untuk beli BB namun fitur ini lumayan bermanfaat untuk membunuh waktu, aku aja dulu sempat bingung karena gak punya radio dirumah, alhasil aku beli HP yang ada radionya untuk dengar radio,he.
